Energy work in the 7 layers of the human energy field

This past weekend I sat in on a level 3 Healing Touch class.  I originally took Level 3 a year ago, and was attending this one as a helper.  Level 3 is the most confusing and most interesting of all the levels, as far as the work being done.  Level 3 introduces the concept of working with all seven layers of the energy field.   As discussed in Barbara Brennan’s book “Hands of Light,” the first layer is the etheric body, and has the same structure as the physical body.  The second layer is the emotional body, and is associated with feelings.  The third layer is the mental body and is associated with the intellect.  The fourth layer is the astral body, and is associated with love.  The fifth layer is the etheric template body.  It is the template for the first layer.  According to Brennan, in disease, when the physical (etheric) body becomes disfigured, then work in the fifth level (etheric template) can help the physical body return to its original form.  In other words, the way I understand it, injuries and diseases can damage the pattern, or template, that the body’s cells use to replace themselves, so that a disease or condition becomes chronic.  It is possible that, but working at higher vibrational levels on the etheric template, we can return the pattern to its original state, and aid the physical body in healing.  To work in this high-vibration state, the class taught the student techniques to raise their energy levels.  Finally, techniques taught in the Level 3 class worked on the sixth layer (Celestial body), associated with spirituality and unconditional love; and on the seventh layer (ketheric template), which is associated with the life plan, or your purpose for being incarnated.

On a practical level, what I saw while observing the students in this class, was significant relaxation and joy while experiencing the work being done.  I have not used this type of energy work frequently in my practice since I originally took the class, but after observing the class and refreshing myself on the potential benefits of this work, I am planning to utilize it more frequently in the future.  I am excited to see whether this type of work can have lasting benefits for my clients!
